About Butler, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The village of Butler is a small community located in Richland County, Ohio. It is home to approximately 940 people and is part of the Mansfield Metro Statistical Area. Butler is served by the Clear Fork Valley Local School District, and older students will attend Clear Fork High School located just outside of Bellville. Butler is home to a public library – a branch of the local Mansfield - Richland County Public Library System.

With fewer than 1,000 residents, Butler isn’t home to any major attractions. However, there are a few noteworthy places to visit here, including restaurants like Whiffletree, Ducky’s Pub & Grill, and Five Points Drive-In Ice Cream & Dairy Bar. There is a local Dollar General here, as well as a Duchess convenience store and Weekly Chrysler Dodge Jeep car dealership. Other attractions can be enjoyed in nearby Mt. Vernon, including the Arier-Foundation Park, Kokosing Gap Grail, and Schnormeier Gallery.

Four distinct seasons grace the Butler community throughout the year, and the summer months are hot and humid. Average high temperatures reach about 82 degrees at the peak of the season, but there are several days each year where thermostat readings jump over 90 degrees. When these hot conditions move into the area, residents are often thankful to have a central air conditioner at home. While Butler is a safe community, central air conditioning allows for better security than window units, as you won’t need to windows and screens to remain open to keep indoor conditions cool.

A dry autumn season will lead into a cold winter. This time of the year features ample precipitation ranging from snow to freezing rain and accumulating ice. A reliable gas or electric furnace is a necessity during this time of the year in order to keep indoor temperatures warm and to prevent pipes from freezing.
