About Centerburg, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Knox County, Ohio, Centerburg is a village found along the Licking River’s North Fork. Approximately 1,800 people reside in this geographical center of the state, which is where the community received its name. Platted in 1834, Centerburg is only 14 miles southwest of Mount Vernon, and it is often referred to as the “Heart of Ohio.” Growth in the community continues to this day, as many residents choose to live in this close-knit village but commute to neighboring Columbus for work.

There are plenty of things to do in Centerburg despite the community’s small population. The Sheedy Sanctuary is a local nature preserve that provides a great destination for birding. Each June, the village hosts the Heart of Ohio US Days Festival, which includes musical entertainment, a parade, carnival rides, and fireworks. At the end of the summer, the Oldtime Farming Festival is held at Memorial Park, and it educates visitors on the role of farming in Central Ohio’s history. Several restaurants are also found in Centerburg, including Pizza Burg, Long Branch Pizza, and Intown Restaurant.

Centerburg residents enjoy four very different seasons throughout the year. A dry autumn will lead to a cold winter. In terms of precipitation, anything is possible, including freezing rain, ice, and snowstorms. A gas or electric furnace with a high AFUE rating will keep indoor temperatures stable and comfortable throughout the season.

At the conclusion of the winter season, a short spring transitions into a humid summer. Temperatures are very warm to hot, and residents will want to stay cool at home with the right air conditioning system. Since thermostat readings can easily reach 90 degrees, a reliable A/C unit can drastically improve indoor comfort levels. Central air conditioning circulates and filters air, removing mold and pollutants, so these systems are especially important for people who suffer from asthma and allergies.
