About Lexington, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Lexington is a village found in Richland County, Ohio, and it is part of the Mansfield Metro Statistical Area. As of 2010, approximately 4,800 people resided here, and the community’s history dates back to its founding in 1812. Later, Lexington would become a major stop along the Underground Railroad, specifically at the “Old Stone House”, which is a structure that still stands. Today, Lexington is primarily a residential community, and the local school district operates three elementary schools, a junior high, and Lexington High School.

Despite the modest size of Lexington, there are some noteworthy things to see and do here. The most popular is arguably the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, which is located just outside of Lexington within Troy Township. This venue hosts IndyCar Series, NASCAR Xfinitiy Series, and Honda Super Bikes events. Lexington offers over 60 acres of park space, including Patriot Park and the Lexington Community Park, and these parks feature walking trails, sporting facilities, an ice skating rink, picnic areas, and playground equipment.

Located in a humid continental climate zone, Lexington has four distinct seasons that require appropriate climate controls. Winters are cold and offer a mixed bag in term of precipitation ranging from freezing rain to snow and ice accumulations. The right heating system is a necessity throughout the season, and a high-efficiency furnace with a good AFUE rating will deliver reliable and economical warmth throughout a home. This can also lead to significantly lower utility bills compared to other heating systems.

The spring season is short and usually features a rapid transition to very warm, humid summer conditions. While average daily highs reach about 81 degrees Fahrenheit in July, there are several days each year where thermostat reading will surpass 90 degrees. To stay cool throughout these long, humid days, residents often invest in central air conditioning systems, as these units provide uniform cooling throughout a residence.
